In this stage we take the property from its current state to clean slate by removing obstacles like rocks, unwanted vegetation, and existing structures.
Once your lot has been cleared we can begin the excavation process. Our engineers create a plan called a “cutsheet” to let us know exactly where and how deep to dig. If there is more dirt than can be safely stockpiled on site, we will remove and haul it away for you.
After your foundation has been poured, it will take a total of two weeks for the concrete to "cure" or harden. At that point we will come back to your site to backfill dirt around your new foundation and provide a "rough grade" in which we will shape the dirt around your house into the approximate elevations shown on the plans. We will come back for one "final grade" when your new home is nearing completion and ready for landscaping.
In an effort to add convenience to our customers that hire us for all of their site service needs, we provide dumpster rental over the course of their project. We have a range of dumpster or "bin" sizes from small 20 cubic yard dumpsters for concrete, 30 cubic yard dumpsters for common construction debris and 40 cubic yards for brush removal.
Our prices are competitive with the industry average and are dependent on weight. For the first five tons we charge a flat rate, and over five tons we charge per ton over
As soon as your dumpster is full, it is time to call for a "pull and return." Upon request, we will dispatch a truck to your site with an empty dumpster and leave with the full dumpster so that you can continue your home construction uninterrupted.
Need Site Work Services?
Sitework preparation services encompass a broad range of activities that are essential for the successful development of a construction site before any building or infrastructure work begins. The average lay person often thinks of a construction project as beginning with laying the foundation, but it actually begins with something even more fundamental- the ground on which the foundation is laid.
